I'm sure you've heard about paid online surveys. But did you know that some of them are real and some of them are scams? Never, ever pay a survey company to register for their website.

Though I am just starting out, I have been paid for taking online surveys. Will you get rich taking surveys? Probably not. But you can make some extra cash part-time working from home. Following are my personal experiences with various online paid survey companies. Don't pay somebody for this information when I am giving it away.

When you reach a level of points equal to $10.00, you can request that a check be mailed to you. They also have a referral program where you make $1.50 per referral. When you qualify to take the survey, you will accumulate points which can be redeemed for payments or prizes. When you have accumulated enough points to equal $5.00, they will either send you a paypal or allow you to choose from their many prizes. I have earned $45.00 worth of gift cards so far from this website. This website does not have a program where you can refer your friends.

Your2Cents Panel: This is another excellent website that sends you survey invitations via email. After completing the survey your account will be credit with the predetermined dollar amount. Once your account reaches a minimum of $5.00 you can request that a check be sent to you. So far I have been paid $21.00 from this website.

Inbox Dollars: This website has a few different ways to make money, including taking paid surveys. They will pay you $1.00 for each survey that you qualify for and complete. They also pay you to read emails. They have an excellent referral program where each time your friends get paid, you receive a $5.00 bonus in your account. Opinion Outpost: This is another very straightforward survey website. They send survey invitations to your email address or you can check their website on a daily basis. If you qualify to complete the survey, you accumulate points which can be redeemed for cash. When you reach a level of points equal to $5.00 you can request that a check be mailed to you. Greenfield Online: Greenfield Online is a survey website that rewards you with either cash or sweepstakes entries in exchange for completing surveys. For each friend that you refer to this website, they will pay you $1.00. I have successfully taken surveys with this website and earned a total of $5.00.

Opinion Square: This website rewards completed surveys with points. Those points can then be redeemed for prizes, including gift certificates. I have earned $5.00 by taking surveys through this website. If you refer a friend to this website, you receive an entry into a sweepstakes.

Harris Poll Online: This is another survey website that is very traditional. You take surveys and are rewarded with points. Those points can be redeemed for merchandise or gift cards. This website does not reward you for referring your friends. I have earned $5.00 in gift cards from this website.

Synovate / Global Opinion Panel: This is another legitimate website that pays cash for the completion of surveys. They also have a referral program which pays $2.00 for each friend that you refer. I have earned a total of $10.00 through this website. I have also tried products that I have been allowed to keep, such as soap, shampoo and toothpaste.
